IEEFA Asia Newsletter

Welcome

Dear IEEFA Asia Community,

We close out 2025 on a high note, having gathered in Bangkok for our annual Asia team retreat. The retreat provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the past year, sharpen our priorities, and align on how we will continue advancing the energy transition across Asia’s rapidly evolving energy and financial landscape in 2026.

This has been one of our busiest years to date. We published more than 53 analytical pieces and conducted over 360 key stakeholder meetings and high-level engagements across major global events — from the Mandiri Investment Forum and Davos to Bangkok Climate Action Week. Over the course of the year, our team expanded in size, scope, and linguistic reach, strengthening our influence on investment and policy discussions across the region.

On behalf of our team, we thank you for your continued support and hope we have provided valuable insights throughout the year. We wish you a very happy New Year and hope you enjoy a well-deserved and restorative break over January and February. The newsletter will return in February with further analysis and perspectives on Asia’s energy transition.

Warm regards,

Paige Nguyen
